Microsoft Teams (MS Teams) is a Cloud-based online meeting and collaboration application. The School has joined the Microsoft Education Program to provide this application for all users, including staff, full-time and part-time teachers, and students for educational uses. MS Teams consists of functionalities like online voice/video call, chat, group meeting and webinar, file sharing, basic workflow and work planning etc. which can easily integrate with the Office 365 applications.
The use of this Cloud application is governed by the School’s Data Privacy Policy, Computer Account Policy, and the University’s Guidelines for Using External Web 2.0 Services for University Purposes.
Sign into MS Teams
For staff and full-time teachers, select Staff Sign In and use your Staff User ID and password to sign in.
For part-time teachers, select Teacher Sign In and use your Teacher No. and password to sign in.
For students, select Student Sign In and use your Student No. and password to sign in.

ChatGPT on Teams (Preview)

We are excited to announce that we have recently integrated ChatGPT into Microsoft Teams for a 6-month trial period till Microsoft launches GPT on its Windows system. ChatGPT is an AI writing assistant that can help you write better and faster. It uses advanced natural language processing algorithms to generate high-quality content that is tailored to your needs.
With ChatGPT, you can write emails, reports, articles, and other types of content with ease. It can help you save time and effort by generating content that is engaging and informative. However, please note that errors and inaccuracies may occur and it may be slow.
ChatGPT on Teams (Preview) can be accessed via School Apps. We encourage you to try it by sending enquiries to ChatGPT on Teams.
MS Teams as a backup application for Online Meeting

Dear colleagues,
Microsoft Teams is now available for use as a backup application for Online Meeting.
To sign in MS Teams, please go to https://teams.hkuspace.hku.hk/ and login with your Staff Intranet Account (user_id@hkuspace.hku.hk) and password.
To join a MS Teams meeting, you may just click the meeting invitation link and select "Join Microsoft Teams Meeting", then choose the option "Join on the web instead".
